So some of the morning was spent finishing this jigsaw!

Warm enough for the Sunday Street Party at 1 despite the lack of sun to start with. Today it was 'bring your own lunch' with everyone's tables and chairs lined up down one of the site roads. We'd finished our pizza and salad and John said "Now what I would like is cake". Well unbeknown to him, I had made arrangements for that!!! Yesterday, I was talking to a lady called June who had produced a cake for her husband's birthday last Sunday. They happened to be going out to a big supermarket where they'd bought it, and she very kindly offered to buy one for me and then put it in the fridge in the Camping Club cabin overnight. So I was able to turn this into a surprise!
This is him thanking everyone for singing to him! The cake was more of a pudding really, but it cut up into numerous pieces to share - and was very tasty.
After everyone had finished eating, Phil, the Rally Steward, got up to introduce the afternoon game.......
......of Bingo!!! Probably not what John would have chosen for his birthday, but it was quite fun with this crowd.
One of the winners was Tony, who is a non-drinker - he immediately handed over his prize with a "Happy Birthday John"!
To finish with - another interesting part of this campsite - the ladies loo ....
.... to the left are the showers ..... straight ahead behind the screen are the loos ...
..... and to the right - umpteen basins (a whole row of them behind these) with soap dispensers and driers. Always spotlessly clean.

A stroll down by the sea completed the afternoon and now having a quiet evening in.
