Camping El Eden, Peniscola

A bit more of yesterday (Wednesday 19th Feb) first.  Our last lunch at our Tropicana pitch.
Then we had our last swim in the pool.  Then a Rally Quiz evening in the restaurant.  How the chef produced 70 huge individual chicken and mushroom pies, chips and peas with garlic, we just don't know.  (Camera forgotten as too busy eating at the time ...)  We only had room for pud's between 2.  Ours is a pear cake, Jenny and Tony have carrot cake.
On the right, the Rally Steward, Phil with the restaurant owner and chef, plus the rest of the very cheerful and hard-working staff.
We didn't do quite as well in the quiz as last week, but we tried hard!

And so this morning, time to pack up, ready to move on.

So today we travelled all of 25 miles north to Camping El Eden de Peniscola.  Back in 2007, we came past here on our way home from Benicassim, and hoped to return one day to visit it.
Looking south towards the castle.  We plan to cycle there tomorrow.

Looking north towards Benicola.  Perhaps we shall cycle that way another day.  Planning to stay until Monday.
